Stroma says yesSince its launch on 9th April, the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) has attracted a reassuring volume of interest from consumers. Anticipating this success NAPIT Training offered a free training taster session, An Introduction to the Renewable Heat Incentive, at the NAPIT EXPO 2014. A video of this session is now available online for the benefit of any installer who would like to know more about the scheme and how to get involved.

The first few months of the Domestic RHI have seen a steady increase in applications and accreditations, in September it was announced that 9,963 applications had been submitted and 7,485 installations accredited. These statistics suggest continued interest from consumers, as do recent figures regarding an RHI calculator launched on 30th July. Nine days after releasing the calculator, which advises consumers how much money they could make through the RHI, the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) announced that it had already been used 4,900 times.

NAPIT Training’s RHI taster session was held for installers wishing to gain a better understanding of the Government incentive scheme. The session covered the process from application to installation, required qualifications, different technologies, NAPIT’s renewable heat courses and more.

If you are considering the necessary training and certification to install under the RHI or to book a full RHI technology course, or our combined RHI prerequisite regulations course, visit www.napittraining.co.uk.
