European market leader Vortice has been selected to supply the ventilation systems for a fabulous new development of 164 homes by Barratt Homes in Chapel en le Frith, Derbyshire. This is an unusual brownfield site, building on part of what is the Federal Mogul factory (suppliers to manufacturers of automotive, light commercial, heavy-duty and off-highway vehicles, as well as in power generation, aerospace, marine, rail and industrial) in the town.
Vortice will be supplying heat recovery systems, mechanical extract systems and bathroom fans over the four year project which will be called Becket’s Brow. The properties have been carefully designed and specified to fit within this beautiful Peak District conservation area and Barratt Homes has selected Vortice for its extensive energy efficient ventilation range.
Ken Johnson, Project Manager at Vortice said: “The Becket’s Brow project started in June and we have worked very closely with Barratt Homes and its installers so that the very best installation and commissioning can be achieved for these energy efficient homes.”
Johnson continues: “The quality of ventilation design, its installation and leak free ducting will mean that these homes provide a healthy living environment for those who purchase the properties.”
