ecoSHOWCASE held its launch Australian event in Newcastle in October and is scheduled for venues in Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and NSW during 2015.
Being promoted as ‘The No 1 Green Building Roadshow’, ecoSHOWCASE is targeting a professional audience wanting to meet specialist suppliers to the built environment and to keep abreast of current trends.
“With the growing importance of sustainability in the specification of building projects, there are few more effective ways of staying informed than a face-to- face with an industry professional,” says ecoSHOWCASE marketing director Tanya Taber.
The inaugural Newcastle event was held on at Hunter Stadium and Taber reports that there was a full line-up of specialist suppliers, expert speakers and other professionals all whom made valuable contacts.
The ecoSHOWCASE concept is built around a tightly packed programme from 5pm until about 8pm: “We are conscious that time is precious and have a carefully arranged sequence of networking time, professional development and discussion with up to 20 exhibitors,” says Taber.
In Newcastle, CPD qualifying seminars were presented by the likes of NABERS, Forest and Wood Products Australia and City Green.
Confirmed ecoSHOWCASE events for 2015 are:
3 March, Victoria Park Golf Club, Brisbane
12 May, Melbourne Cricket Ground
11 August, Royal Perth Golf Club
10 November, Luna Park, Sydney
