Addagrip are delighted to announce that their Addaset, Addabound and Terrabound Resin Bound surfaces have all achieved BBA certification, making them the first and only Resin Bound Surfacing manufacturer to achieve this standard.
Roger Critchley, Managing Director of Addagrip Terraco Ltd, says: “With the continuing growth in the use of seamless Resin Bound Surfacing over the last 10 years, we have seen many new suppliers, manufacturers and DIY suppliers enter the marketplace. The BBA accreditation will set a benchmark for quality resin bound products and installations within the industry. The Addagrip Terraco Resin Bound products are a complete resin and aggregate system, installed by an Addagrip approved contractor to ensure that the correct ratio of resin to aggregate is achieved and the product installed according to our specific guidelines.
“Gaining the BBA certification has been a long process as we are the first company to invest in what we see as a very significant step forward in the Resin Bound industry. The BBA carried out site visits, inspecting old installations in order to confirm and check their condition after many years use, as well as visiting a live installation to witness the mixing and application process. A further range of independent product testing was also carried out which included permeability testing, as Resin Bound Surfacing is regularly used on SUDS-based schemes.”
