Recently, SPSenvirowall took part in a Welsh Government Warm Homes Arbed project alongside contractor Joyner Group, after an investment of £3.5 million was made into improving the energy efficiency of 293 homes in Twynrodyn, Merthyr Tydfil.
Melin Homes’ Being Greener Team delivered a scheme which saw the improvement of a local youth club, TAG, improving the energy efficiency of the community hall that they occupy.
SPSenvirowall donated the external wall insulation materials for this scheme, while Joyner Group provided free labour ensuring the system was installed to a high-quality standard. The community hall now benefits from lower energy bills which have reportedly been halved, a warmer hall and a much improved appearance to the building and local area.SPSenvirowall supply free external wall insulation materials, render and cladding to many of the schemes delivered by Melin Homes, a housing association which provides affordable homes to tenants in South East Wales to help improve the local area.
